Scott F. Scheynost

Louisville workers' compensation attorney Scott ScheynostScott Scheynost is a Southwest Louisville native and 1978 graduate of Jesse Stuart High School. He graduated from the University of Louisville School of Law in 1988. There he was on the Dean’s list, was a member of the school’s law review, and was a member of the moot court board.

He has given lectures to other attorneys in continuing legal education classes about Kentucky workers’ compensation issues and has won cases before the Kentucky Supreme Court.

Scott’s over 25 years of experience practicing law includes originally working for firms that defended large corporations and insurance carriers. But, he has represented hundreds of injured individuals and their families since opening his own firm in 1996 in Southwest Louisville.

Scott’s office is in Southwest Louisville, Kentucky, but he regularly works with clients outside of Jefferson County. Past clients have lived in Bullitt, Oldham, Spencer, Henry, Carroll, Trimble, Nelson, Anderson, Meade, Hardin and many other counties in Kentucky. He has also represented many clients that live outside of Kentucky and reside in other states, and even other countries.
